First picture of you….

This is the first picture I ever took of you…and it was taken March 24, 2012 at 1:30, which is exactly 6 years and 30 mins before you passed away on March 24, 2018, at 1pm.

You were so very scared. I’ll never forget this moment for as long as I live.

First correspondences about you

Hi Jen
When I first took Trixie to the Dr Pla, when she had the upper respitory, he said she was a shy kittie and
very cute.   I pet her all the time.  She is lonesome and likes the contact and time with me.  When I
first go to the cage, she wonders if I am going to put meds down her mouth, or nose drops in her nose.
She gives me hisses but never does a thing.  I could always easily touch her and administer her meds.
She needs to be in a confined setting so she can have time with her caretaker.  Continue to get petted
and have contact with people.   She is an active teenager. She wants to play and have company.
She plays with her toys, and is basically a happy kitty.  The added contact and attention she needs
is a time that is enjoyable.  She is a cutie.
regards,
Denise

Hi Danielle
I am waiting to drop off two juniors.  Then I can come down with Trixie. As soon as I hear from the
other person, regarding the juniors, I can know when I can leave.  I should hear from the person Monday,
or the latest Tuesday.     I suggest having Trixie start in a cage so she feels safe and does not hide on you.
She still needs time to completely relax with people.  Especially since she does not know you yet.
She likes to be petted, and that will give you easy access to her so you can do so.   Thankyou for your
interest in helping Trixie get a good home.

yes, mom is tested.  They are keeping mom.  They did not spay her and her not great caretakers.  But
she has a home and I will make sure she gets spayed.  She is a Very Sweet cat.  I wish they had been
willing to give her away.  I will ask them again.  Mabe now they have changed their mind.  But the kittens
need homes.  I was told there are three kittens.  Mom is very young. Under a year.  She is a petite pretty longhair.

Hi Danielle
I brought the little female to the vet for her “send off: exam.   She received her two vaccinations.
Merial distemper vaccine, and Merial pure vac rabies vaccine.  The doctor explained that
since she was brought in the first time, at an age that was borderline for having the mother’s
antibodies in her,  he wanted to retest her for fiv now.  I am sure she is positive, but we did
it anyway.  The test results will be in tomorrow.   The senior woman that also knew Trixie,
was at the animal hospital with me.  She renamed her Emily,   But of course, the kitty will
probably receive another name when adopted.  Once the results come in, I will call Jay
for transport.   I am very happy you will have her.   Thankyou

P.S.   I want to tell you how nice it was to meet you in our phone call.  I am very happy that “Emily”
will be with you getting TLC.   I know she will be in good hands and I feel very fortunate for this opportunity
for her.   Thankyou very much Danielle!

Yay!
I will send her food down.  She is eating Royal Canaan growth dry food.
When she was sick, she only would eat a/d canned food.  She ate a half a can
at breakfast and a half a can at dinner.  The doctor wants her on the Lysine.
So I have the pump can.  I put one pump full of lysine in her canned food at
both meals.   She still wants the a/d canned.  Since she likes the Royal Canaan
dry and has been eating it in the day and at night, I have not tried to wean her
off the a/d.   I thought it was more important that she was eating.
Since she is in a cage, I have not given her clumping litter.  I did not want her
to digest in.   She is in such close proximity to the litter box, and could get litter
on her, or in her food or water bowl.  So I have been using other litter.  I can
send her litter too.

P.S.
I was going to get the things for her today and pick up the medical records on her vaccines she
had the other day .  Would saturday be okay with you to meet

Yes, the rest stop just before exit 3 is Walt Whitman.   Jay has a cell phone. He may text on it also, I will ask him.

He said Walt Whitman is fine.  He will call me later and we can make arrangements for a time.  I think he is at work

now.   How far are you from the turnpike exit 3?

Emily is doing well after being so sick with upper respitory.  I did not want to hit her with a spay now.  In addition,

relocation is always stressful for a kitty, so her coming to you is enough for her to go through.   She has had

her vaccines, as I mentioned.   She wanted me to pet her this morning before breakfast, that is a first.  Usually

she wants to eat right away.

Thankyou for being willing to meet us.

Hi
Is where we are meeting very far from your house?   We can meet closer.  I would like Emily to not be in the
car too long after she leaves m e.  Traveling is scary and at least with me she feels safe because she knows
me.  So let me know where would be best.
Thanks

Jay can’t tell me where to meet him until he looks at his map.  That is why I have to wait until he gets home at
9:00.   He lives further into Jersey than I do.  I am on the coast

Hi
Jay will first have a meeting he must attend, and then he will meet me at 11:00 am  at the rest stop between
exit 11 and exit 12.   It is a little less than 72 miles down to Walt Whitman rest stop.  So it should take us
a little more than an hour.  We can call you on your cell phone when we are half way down if you would like.

HI
Her toy will be familiar to her.  Put that in her cage too.
Thankyou!

yes, but eye will dry up again.  The nose drops helped her sinuses and eyes a lot.  I gave her the
nose drops twice a day.   I stopped the nose drops a week after her medicine for her upper respitory
was finished.   Her eyes improved a lot.  Then she got the water in the eye.  But Emily had enough of
meds by that time, And got stressed when I would attempt to give her the nose drops again.  So I stopped
to give her a rest from it.   She really relaxed when I stopped the meds.
If the room gets too cool, she can get a chill quickly, and will then sneeze. At night, don’t let the heat go down.
That is when she gets a chill and starts sneezing right away.  Check to  make sure their are no drafts in the
room hitting her.  She has been living in an apt with 70 degree temp.
